Standard healer build with Future initiative

A high-sustain support build focused on keeping teammates alive in tough fights, while also boosting weapon damage and skill damage.

This build is a versatile support healer that can be used across all types of content. It provides strong healing output while also increasing your teammates’ weapon and skill damage by 25% as long as you remain at full armor. Because of its reliability and team utility, it is widely considered a standard healer build in The Division 2. For the backpack slot, there are a couple of strong options depending on your playstyle and experience level. Some players prefer The Setup backpack from the Uzina Getica brand set, which comes with an armor core and the Perfect Opportunistic talent. This increases the damage bonus from Opportunistic to 15% instead of the standard 10%, making it a strong choice for maximizing team damage. For newer players, however, the Alps Summit backpack is often the better option. It enhances healing output, which makes it more forgiving if your stats, mods, or SHD watch level are not yet fully optimized. This helps ensure more consistent and effective healing while you are still progressing your build. Ultimately, the backpack choice comes down to personal preference and playstyle. Both options are viable, and neither is strictly required, but each offers different strengths depending on whether you prioritize team damage or raw healing performance. This build is effective in all content, including missions, raids, incursions, and Descent mode. Its combination of healing and team buffs makes it an essential support option for group play.

Hitting an enemy applies a stack. Stacks are shared between players. At 5 stacks, the enemy will forcefully target the last player to apply a stack for 5s and take 25% more damage to Armor. Stacks deplete every 5s. Activating the effect on an enemy will remove all stacks from the enemy.
