Tank build tailored for the Captain Fieser fight, prioritizing survivability and stability during key mechanics.
This build is specifically tailored for Captain Fieser, the second boss in the Iron Horse raid. It is designed to provide full burn resistance, very high armor, and strong armor regeneration, while still maintaining enough damage output to quickly destroy the boss’s glowing backpack when required. This balance of survivability and utility makes it highly effective for controlling the fight. For weapons, the Stoner LMG is used to consistently apply pressure to weak points, while The Revenant Rifle helps sustain survivability by priming armor-based bonuses. Together, these weapons support both damage output and defensive stability throughout the encounter. In terms of boss mechanics, the build allows you to handle Captain Fieser’s phases smoothly without unnecessary risk. It gives you the durability needed to focus on executing mechanics properly, including reading error cores in the control room, without being overwhelmed by incoming damage or environmental hazards. Beyond this specific encounter, the build also has additional utility in other raid situations. It can function as a diagnostic tank for the third boss by holding aggro and stabilizing positioning, and it remains useful during the later stages of the fourth boss fight where sustained survivability is critical. From a team support perspective, the build also contributes significantly by providing up to 50% of your total armor value to teammates. This greatly improves group survivability, allowing DPS players to focus more on damage output and less on defensive positioning. Overall, this build delivers a strong combination of survivability, damage consistency, and team support, making it an excellent choice for mastering multiple encounters in the Iron Horse raid.
